Senate proclamation for Geronimo

Sen. Sylvia Allen read a proclamation on the Senate floor for the legendary Apache leader Geronimo on the 100th anniversary of his death. San Carlos Apache Indian Chairman Wendsler Nosie is shown here accepting a statue from former Senator Lester Pearce, as Sen. Allen looks on. The statue was created by former Senate Majority Leader Rusty Bowers.
